In 1986, Xerox Corporation approached ImageTech about becoming one of Minnesota's first fully authorized Xerox Engineering Systems (XES) dealers. The first machine that Xerox offered – the 2510 – was the earliest affordable wide format copier widely available to the AEC market. ImageTech quickly became one of Xerox's premier dealers, offering equipment sales and technical support for the full line of Xerox engineering copiers, printers and scanners.
Throughout the 1990's, ImageTech continued to pursue innovative technology for its customers. As Xerox introduced fully digital printers and scanners, ImageTech became authorized to sell and service the equipment. Hewlett Packard introduced the first wide format digital ink jet plotter in 19XX, and ImageTech has been selling the full range of HP engineering products ever since. In the reprographics area, ImageTech added digital printing capabilities with both large and small format equipment. Full color graphics were added, giving ImageTech the capability of providing color output for its clients.
Today, ImageTech Services is a leader in CAD technology. We offer fully digital imaging and printing services; the full range of Xerox, HP and Calcomp digital printers and scanners; Autodesk CAD software and support; onsite facility management services; computer workstations; technical service and support; software training; and a full line of media, toners and supplies.
